Insurance
I am currently in-network with Kern Legacy. If you are interested in utilizing your insurance but I’m not in-network, I can provide you a document called a Superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. If you would like to utilize this option, I would recommend you contacting your insurance and asking if you have out of network benefits. The contact information is usually in the back of your insurance card. If you do, ask them how much (percentage) they cover for you and the process for you to submit superbills for reimbursement. I try my best to support clients in this process. However, I cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement because that is dependent on your benefits.
Sliding Scale
I usually offer a few openings to clients on a sliding scale, meaning a lower cost for my services. If those spots are filled, I can provide referrals for you for low cost therapy services in our Bakersfield, CA community. A great option for lower cost therapy is the CSUB University Counselor Training Clinic.
